About Fever Stitch
What can I say? My heroes have always been cowboys—especially singing cowboys, with their dazzling chainstitch embroidery and sparkles. It all started in the 1950s and continued through the years. I grew up in an era filled with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans, Hee Haw, and The Porter Wagoner Show. Along the way, I collected and proudly wore every piece of chainstitch I could find.
My passion for chainstitch started early with love for the singing cowboys and a teenage obsession with collecting vintage chainstitch pieces.
I’ve built four dance apparel businesses and worked with major names like Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios, the Metropolitan Opera, Juilliard, Juicy Couture, and countless ballet companies.
Our Story
A Bit of History
I first wielded a needle and thread at the age of 8. Over the years, my stitching adventures have taken me on a whirlwind journey. I have built four apparel/costume businesses and worked with some of the biggest names around: Disney, Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios, the Metrop0litan Opera, Julliard, Juicy Couture and hundreds of ballet companies to name a few.
My pieces have made their way onto screens big and small, onto the pages of glossy magazines and even danced for royalty and icons like Martha Stuart. We have dressed everyone from clowns to horseback riders and, of course, thousands of dancers. Fast forward through years of practice, countless sparkly creations, and a passion for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, and Fever Stitch was born.
